DARTMOUTH, N.S. — Glenn Bowie is the new general manager of the Westin Nova Scotian, owned by New Castle Hotels & Resorts.
Bowie has worked with New Castle Hotels & Resorts for more than 25 years and most recently served as the area director of Sales and Marketing for the company’s Canadian Division where he was responsible for six properties. Prior to that role, Bowie spent 12 years in the sales department of the Westin Nova Scotian. He was the area director of Sales, director of Sales and director of Corporate Sales. He first began his career in the industry as a bellman and concierge at the Sheraton Halifax. Bowie is also the recipient of many professional awards and accolades, including New Castle’s top salesperson and Leader of the Year.
“Glenn has been an instrumental part of our company and the Westin Nova Scotian for more than two decades. He started in the sales department of the hotel and has proven himself as a valuable leader in sales, marketing, coaching and management,” says Guido Kerpel, COO of New Castle Hotels & Resorts. “He is the perfect leader to take over the position of general manager of the Westin Nova Scotian.”
