TORONTO — Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, who has a majority stake in Four Seasons and Fairmont Hotels and Resorts, told Bloomberg TV’s Erik Schatzker he’s considering going public with the two hotel companies due to recent strong business in the hotel sector.

“Our objective right now is to grow both companies and have a monetization process,” Alwaleed said at a conference hosted by Bloomberg. “The hotel industry is facing a major upside right now. This may go on another three or four years. So there is a zone of opportunity for us right now.” [bloomberg.com]
