VANCOUVER — Fairmont Vancouver Airport was awarded Best Airport Hotel in North America at the 2017 World Airport Awards, held in Amsterdam earlier this month. This recognition marks the sixth time in seven years that the hotel has received this prestigious award.
The 2017 World Airport Awards are the most prestigious accolades for the aviation industry and a global benchmark of airport excellence. The 2017 awards are based upon results from guest surveys which assessed hotel standards across a wide range of categories, including but not limited to the overall hotel experience, noteworthy facilities, food quality and in-room amenities.
