TORONTO — B.C.’s Fairmont Pacific Rim, the Magnolia Hotel and Spa as well as the Brentwood Bay Resort & Spa are among the top-ranking Canadian properties, according to the Expedia 2013 Insiders’ Select rankings, an annual crowd-sourced list of the world’s best-reviewed hotels.
“Expedia.ca congratulates the top-ranked properties in British Columbia, Quebec and Ontario,” said Sean Shannon, VP and managing director of Expedia Canada.
The list of Canadian properties also included Auberge in Quebec City, The Rosewood Hotel Georgia in Vancouver, the Loden Hotel in Vancouver, The Hazelton Hotel in Toronto, Nita Lake Lodge in Whistler, the Pinnacle Hotel at the Pier in Vancouver and Hotel Le Germain – Dominion in Quebec City.
The list also included a ranking of the world’s best-reviewed hotels, with Mexico dominating the top 10. The top three hotels in this year’s ranking included One & Only Palmilla Resort in Mexico, Arenas del Mar Beachfront & Rainforest Resort in Costa Rica and Marrol’s Boutique Hotel in Slovakia.
