VAUGHAN, Ont. — Element by Westin is coming to Canada, with the first hotel slated to open in the Vaughan West Business Park in Vaughan, Ont. in 2013.
“Providers of a forward-thinking, eco-friendly hotel product, the Element brand will soon be an innovative leader in the Canadian hotel market,” said Philippe Gadbois, senior vice-president, Sales and Marketing, Atlific Hotels. “We look forward to introducing Element to Canada and to the vibrant city of Vaughan.”
Managed by Atlific Hotels, the 152-room Element hotel is marketed as an eco-conscious space, offering complimentary wellness programs and healthy food options at Rise — its daily complimentary breakfast buffet of smoothies and low-fat breakfast wraps. Guestrooms feature urban designs with custom-designed closet systems, entertainment centres and signature Westin-brand relaxation beds.
Guestrooms also offer in-room recycling bins, water-efficient faucets, eco-friendly paints and a “Bikes-to-Borrow” system, which encourages a healthy lifestyle while on the road.
Canada’s second Element hotel, the Element by Westin Vancouver, is slated to open in 2014.
