BERLIN — The keynote speaker for the annual International Hotel Investment Forum (IHIF) has been announced.

This year the keynote speaker is Dr. Jacques Attali, advisor to François Mitterrand, the 21st President of the French Republic. Attali is currently CEO of A&A and president of Planet Finance, an international non-profit organization assisting micro-finance institutions. In addition, Wired UK editor David Rowan will take the stage, leading a session called “Wake up Call — Innovate or be Damned!” It will examine trends and innovations that appeal to investors.

This year IHIF has a new contact system. The service helps delegates see who is attending the conference, search for other delegates by business interests, plan one-on-one meetings and map out an itinerary.

Nearly 2,000 senior leaders from the hospitality industry will gather at the InterContinental hotel in Berlin to attend networking events and educational sessions at the forum, which runs between March 4 and 6.
