EDMONTON — The team at DoubleTree by Hilton have opened DoubleTree by Hilton West Edmonton, the company’s first Alberta property. This is the result of a multi-million dollar property-wide transformation of the former Mayfield Inn and Suites.

“DoubleTree by Hilton has experienced tremendous growth in Canada in recent months, and the opening of DoubleTree by Hilton West Edmonton marks another great milestone as we debut the brand in Alberta,” said John Greenleaf, global head, DoubleTree by Hilton. “We are excited to bring our globally-recognized service culture to guests in West Edmonton, starting with the iconic warm chocolate chip cookie welcome upon arrival.”

The redesigned hotel offers a range of suites, including bi-level suites, two-bedroom suites and the presidential suite with a complimentary 24-hour business centre, 24-hour fitness centre and heated indoor pool. The property also features a state-of-the-art SilverBirch Conference Centre, offering 38,000 sq.ft. of meeting space with the latest built-in technology as well as complimentary Wi-Fi, espresso machines and an assortment of smoothie shots, fresh fruits and vegetables, pastries and healthy treats.

The hotel has a variety of dining options, including Stages Kitchen & Bar and the Mayfield Dinner Theatre that includes live shows and a dinner buffet.
