OTTAWA — Destination Canada has launched two new portals to encourage domestic travel — the key to the recovery and revitalization of the tourism industry.
The Canadian Packages Portal showcases Canadian tour packages across each province and territory, featuring built-out itineraries for domestic travellers to explore and experience the best of Canada. This new portal will support tour operators by providing access to an engaged audience through the Keep Exploring page, which will ultimately lead to conversion and bookings. Content will be included from the new packages portal into the Keep Exploring website to encourage Canadians to learn and dream about new locations from coast to coast.
Additionally, Destination Canada has launched a new travel-offers page, highlighting timely deals and offers from selected partners across the country to capture the key Canadian travel deals all in one place. Canadians have access to the city and activity passes across the country from Regina to Montreal. Indigenous experiences and packages are available to connect travellers with the stories and cultures of First Nations, Inuit and Métis Peoples across Canada.
