CALGARY — Delta Hotels and Resorts is continuing its slow-and-steady expansion, announcing a new full-service property slated to open in conjunction with the Calgary International Airport’s new international terminal, currently under construction.
The new Delta Calgary International Airport will feature 318 guestrooms with a “ModeRoom” design, including a work area equipped with multiple connectivity options; a bedside mobile docking device; HDTV; and complimentary high-speed Internet access. The hotel also offers more than 17,000 sq. ft. of conference and meeting space as well as a restaurant and lounge, an indoor pool and spa as well as a fitness centre.
“We are thrilled to participate in Calgary International Airport’s expansion and advancement of the region’s economic activity, with the opening of a landmark Delta hotel,” said Ken Greene, president and CEO, Delta Hotels and Resorts. “With more than 14-million business and leisure travellers transiting Calgary International each year, we are excited to welcome guests to Delta Calgary International Airport.”
Other projects in the works include Delta’s flagship hotel in downtown Toronto; Delta Waterloo in Ontario; Delta Thunder Bay in Ontario; Delta Prince George in B.C.; and Delta Burlington in Ontario.
