THUNDER BAY, Ont. — The Delta Marriott, which was scheduled to open in December 2018, has been delayed. According to the hotel’s website, the waterfront property will now open in February 2019.
The hotel was originally supposed to open in spring 2016, but construction delays, legal battles and liens halted its debut.
The 149-room property has changed since its original design was presented but will still feature a lounge, restaurant and 650 sq. ft. of conference space.
