TORONTO — The executive team at the Toronto-based Delta Hotels and Resorts has announced a new leadership team at hotels across Canada.
“This is an exciting time for Delta as we draw on our deep pool of talent and reposition the brand,” said David Bird, SVP of Operations for Delta Hotels and Resorts. “From coast to coast, our newly appointed team embodies the knowledge and expertise to continue our strong focus on business excellence, elevating the guest experience and engaging our talented teams.”
Dan DeSantis is the new managing director of Delta Calgary Airport and the Delta Calgary International Airport, effective Jan. 1. Previously, DeSantis held GM positions at the Delta Lodge at Kananaskis, Delta Sun Peaks Resort and Delta Whistler Village Suites.
Martin Gilbert is the new GM of Delta Bessborough in Saskatoon, effective Dec. 31. He was most recently GM of Delta Trois-Rivières in Quebec and director, Sales and Marketing at Delta Fredericton.
