EDMONTON — Rabih Hyar has joined the culinary team at Delta Hotels Edmonton South Conference Centre as its new executive chef.

Hyar boasts a wealth of culinary experience gained in kitchens around the world. He has held positions at the Fairmont hotel in Dubai and Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, where he oversaw the hotel’s Poppy Brasserie and Walliser Stube restaurants. Chef Hyar also led the opening team at Chop Steakhouse Edmonton Downtown where he managed 30 staff and $120,000 per week in food sales.

Hyar’s culinary talent will be showcased at Delta Hotels Edmonton South’s annual Meetings, Weddings and Restaurants Showcase, on April 12.
