TORONTO – Delta Hotels and Resorts is pleased to announce the promotion of Laura Pallotta to Corporate Director of Sales effective May 29th, 2012.  

In the newly created role, Pallotta will join the sales leadership team to provide strategic support for sales distribution and partnerships, oversee the National Sales Team as well as sales in the Manitoba and Saskatchewan regions.

Pallotta is a consummate professional with over 21 years of hotel experience, eight of which were spent in progressive leadership positions at Delta.  Before taking on her current role, Pallotta was the Regional Director of Sales and Marketing, where she was accountable for the strategic direction and total revenue of three hotels in South-Western Ontario. Prior to joining Delta, Pallotta held various sales and marketing positions with the Waterside Inn in Port Credit, Best Western Carlton Place & Days Inn Hotel and Conference Centre in Toronto, as well as the Ramada Hotel in Hamilton.

Pallotta holds a Bachelor of Sociology from McMaster University and a Diploma in Special Events Planning from George Brown College, School of Hospitality. In addition, she is a graduate of Delta’s ‘Elite Fast Tracker Program’ from Ryerson University, and is currently working on her Leadership Masters Certificate from Cornell University. Pallotta is now based out of Delta’s Corporate Office located in Toronto.
