As we near the close of another year, the Hotelier team is happy to present our final issue of 2024, which also happens to be our Special Pinnacle Awards edition. Long considered the “Oscars” of the foodservice and hospitality industry, the Pinnacle Awards celebrate excellence in Canada’s dynamic hospitality industry by shining a spotlight on five of this year’s brightest stars from the hotel industry, including Company of the Year, InnVest Hotels; Regional Company of the Year, Opal Hospitality; Madone Pelan, GM of the Oak Bay Beach Hotel, as Hotelier of the Year; and DesignAgency, as Supplier of the Year. And, this year, we also celebrated the 60-year career of Josef Ebner as winner of the Rosanna Caira Lifetime Achievement Award.
