TORONTO — The millennial business traveller is the focus of a new Days Inns – Canada campaign, dubbed “Bizcation,” which hones in on the pleasures of taking time for yourself when travelling.

The Toronto-based Giants & Gentlemen advertising agency was charged with creating a year-long campaign that launched with a commercial called “Dad Pad Thai.” It features a father enjoying dinner in his hotel room while on a business trip. “The Bizcation message acknowledges that, although business travel is not everyone’s favourite thing to do, it does have an upside,” said Irwin Prince, president & COO, Days Inns – Canada. “Although we’re away from our loved ones, sometimes for extended periods, having some time to unwind in a room with free hi-speed Internet, and all the essential hotel amenities, gives us a chance to enjoy time on our own.”
