TORONTO — Owners at Days Inn locations across Canada are raising funds for Childhood Cancer Canada (CCC) this month.

Irwin Prince, president and COO of Realstar Hospitality, the Canadian franchisor of Days Inn, is proud of the $300,000 raised for CCC during the last six years, and is optimistic about the current campaign. “This year we aim to raise $45,000 and help fund 30 scholarships to [help] childhood cancer survivors achieve their academic goals.”

From July 9 to15, Days Inn owners will donate $1 to CCC for each guestroom sold, and purple paper ribbons are also being offered to guests and staff for $2 each. Proceeds will benefit Childhood Cancer Canada’s Survivor Scholarship Program.

Realstar Hospitality, a division of Realstar Group, is a leader in multi-unit residential real estate, sports, entertainment and other facilities and hotels in the limited-service and full-service sectors.
