TORONTO — Cyrus Cooper has joined Centennial College School of Hospitality, Tourism and Culinary Arts as professor and program coordinator for the Hotel, Resort and Restaurant Management Graduate Certificate program.

Cooper boasts an impressive background in food-and-beverage management and hospitality leadership experience to the college, having spent the last 10 years progressing through a number of key roles within some of Canada’s most prestigious brands, including his most recent position as director of Food-and-Beverage Operations for Pusateri’s Fine Foods. Cooper’s previous roles also included positions with Granite Club in Toronto and Oliver & Bonacini Restaurants.

This summer Cooper was instrumental in helping Centennial launch the How to Create a Positive and Inclusive Workplace guide and program in partnership with Restaurants Canada. On July 11, 2018, he hosted a webinar for all Restaurants Canada members to provide key insights into how operators can establish and foster these types of work environments to build success within their organizations.
