NEW YORK — Condé Nast Traveler has released the winners of its 2017 Readers’ Choice Awards, naming the top hotels and resorts in the world, as well as in Canada.
La Réserve Paris – Hotel and Spa in Paris, France claimed top spot on the publication’s list of 50-best hotels in the world. Fogo Island Inn in N.L. and Auberge Saint-Antoine in Quebec City were the only Canadian properties to make the list, ranking 27th and 38th respectively.
Fogo Island Inn also topped the list of the top-25 hotels in the country — excluding properties located in Vancouver, for which a separate list of 12 top hotels was compiled. Fairmont Vancouver Airport claimed top position in the ranking of best Vancouver hotels.
Readers also voted Mountain Trek Fitness Retreat & Health Spa in Ainsworth Hot Springs, B.C. Canada’s top resort.
