SILVER SPRING, MD. — Choice Hotels International Inc., recently announced plans to partner with the Greenwich, Conn.-based full-service lending and advisory platform, Access Point Financial.
The goal of the partnership is to aid the company’s Sleep Inn brand in implementing the Designed to Dream renovation program as well as create other programs to help meet the brand’s financial needs.
“The recent recession made it difficult for our franchisees and hoteliers across the industry to invest capital in their hotels and to secure financing,” said Stephen Joyce, president and CEO of Choice. “This alliance with Access Point Financial gives us the opportunity to offer our Sleep Inn franchisees the ability to secure capital to keep their properties competitive in the marketplace,”
The Designed to Dream program, launched last year, involves giving Sleep Inn properties a nature-inspired decor makeover.
