ROCKVILLE, Md. — Choice Hotels International, Inc. has transitioned previously furloughed corporate roles in the U.S. to a reduction in workforce, effective July 1, as part of its efforts to ensure the long-term health of the business in the wake of COVID-19.
Impacted employees will be eligible to receive severance packages and associated benefits, including outplacement support.
The company has also extended employee furloughs in Europe through October 1. A hiring freeze remains in place for all non-critical positions globally.
