KELOWNA, B.C. — Putting guest service first has its rewards for both guests and owners alike. Comfort Suites Kelowna, on 2656 Highway 97 North, was honoured with a 2013 Gold Hospitality Award from Canada’s largest hotel franchisor, Choice Hotels Canada.
“We take a lot of pride in our guest service and to be recognized for it means the world to our team,” says hotel general manager, Ms. Carla Carlson. “To be part of the top 10 per cent of Choice Hotel properties across Canada is such an accomplishment and one we have worked very hard to achieve.”
Of the more than 300 properties which comprise the Choice Hotels Canada family, 20 were awarded the Gold Hospitality Award. The hotels were chosen based on a variety of criteria, which included guest surveys and third-party reviews that looked at the condition of the rooms and property.
“The Comfort Suites Kelowna is setting the bar high, not just within the Comfort Suites brand, but for the entire Choice Hotels Canada family,” says Tim Oldfield, managing director for Choice Hotels Canada. “The team has consistently gone above and beyond, allowing their property to shine amongst its competition.
