SILVER SPRING, Md. — Choice Hotels International has announced that Tim Muir has been named VP of Franchise Development.
“Welcoming an industry leader of Tim’s calibre to Choice Hotels is a testament to the strength of our brands and proven franchise system,” said David Pepper, SVP, Global Development, “I am confident that Tim’s leadership and experience will be an excellent addition to our franchise development organization and look forward to the continued success of our team.”
Muir will be responsible for the Comfort Inn, Comfort Suites, Cambria Suites, Sleep Inn and the Ascend Hotel Collection brand. He brings with him more than 25 years of experience in franchise sales and development, having previously worked as SVP, Franchise Sales and Development for Wyndham Hotel Group. Muir will report directly to David Pepper, SVP, Global Development.
Choice Hotels franchises more than 6,300 hotels around the world.
