ROCKVILLE, Md. — Choice Hotels has promoted Patrick Pacious to the post of COO, effective Jan. 1.

Joyce, president and CEO, Choice Hotels. “He has had a significant role driving profitable growth and performance company-wide as well as ensuring that Choice remains on the leading edge of technology. Most importantly, Pat’s advice to me over the last several years has impacted the strategic direction of Choice enormously.”
Pacious serves as the EVP, Global Strategy and Operations. Prior to joining Choice Hotels in 2005, Pacious has held senior positions with BearingPoint and Arthur Andersen, where he worked directly with senior executives and Boards of Directors at a variety of key clients, including Choice Hotels International.
