TORONTO — Choice Hotels Canada honoured 26 of its properties for excelling in guest satisfaction, awarding nine hotels with a Platinum Hospitality Award, and giving 17 Gold status.
Platinum awards were given to the top three per cent of guest-oriented properties, and Gold status was given to the top 10 per cent. Recipients were selected based on guest surveys, third-party assurance audits and the ability to meet guest needs.
“Guests are the true brand spokespeople, and when our hotels step up to deliver superior service, they benefit from a flurry of repeat customers while representing the best of what our brands have to offer. I couldn’t be more proud of this year’s winners,” said Tim Oldfield, managing director of Franchise Performance for Choice Hotels Canada.
Platinum winners include the Comfort Inn, Brockville, Ont.; Quality Inn, Matane, Que.; and Quality Inn, St. André, N.B.
