MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — Choice Hotels Canada celebrated the move to its new Canadian corporate office in Mississauga, Ont. last week. Located at the Spectrum SQ development, the new space is LEED Gold certified and houses approximately 43 members of the brand’s corporate team.
Media and vendors were given guided tours of the space by members of the Choice Canada team during last Thursday’s open house, which included a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
“The opening of our new LEED Gold corporate office is the beginning of an exciting chapter for Choice Hotels Canada,” says Brian Leon, managing director, Choice Hotels Canada. “This move symbolizes our evolution with a collaborative space that truly reflects our brand, culture and innovative spirit.”
Spectrum SQ is a 1.3-million-sq.-ft. LEED Gold office campus — one of the most advanced sustainable buildings in Canada. Choice’s new space features full-height glazing on the windows to promote natural light and views, as well as operable windows to provide supplemental natural ventilation. Raised floor air conditioning and individual controls pump fresh air into the office and increase employee comfort.
Connectivity features front-and-centre in the high-performance office space, including integrated scheduling software and a “virtual receptionist” that sends email alerts to Choice staff when a visitor signs in. Automated climate-control systems control the window shades and interior temperature.
I am trying to find the corporate office phone number or email.
I understand the motel in Leamington belongs to them and I have issues with
the property they apparently own at 10 Margaret Street. I have to complain to
the town about the grass which is let go. The back yard has not been cut in at
least three weeks and the front yard two weeks. I am tired of cleaning up the
weeds that grow over into my yard. Everyone in this small subdivision keeps their
yards neat and tidy. Perhaps a lawn service should be hired to do this job.
