HALIFAX — Peter and Stephanie Giannoulis, owners of the newly-built Halifax Tower Hotel & Conference Centre and the Comfort Hotel Bayer’s Lake, have been awarded Developer of the Year for Choice Hotel Canada’s 2022 Awards for Property Excellence (APEX).
The Halifax Tower Hotel & Conference Centre also won a 2022 national APEX award for Best New Entry, Ascend Hotel Collection. This upscale, high-rise hotel features 103 guestrooms over 16 floors, a restaurant, lounge, conference and banquet facilities and an indoor heated pool.
Additionally, the Comfort Hotel Bayer’s Lake has consistently been a top performer since entering the system in 2011. It has received seven APEX awards as well as the Canadian Hotel of the Year award twice.
