ROCKVILLE, Md. — Choice Hotels International Inc. announced five newly appointed leadership roles to advance its corporate priorities and drive growth.

Megan Brumagim was promoted to vice-president of Brand Management, Design and Compliance. She will oversee the strategy, growth and performance of Comfort, Sleep Inn, Quality Inn, Clarion, Econo Lodge and Rodeway Inn. Brumagim was previously the senior director for Signature Brands and led a multi-year, $2.5-billion joint effort with franchisees to transform the Comfort brand.

Duane Hart is the new vice-president of Business and Analytic Services. He will lead the overall analytics strategy and vision for the company. Hart was formerly the vice-president of Data and Analytics Operations at Hilton Worldwide.

Anna Scozzafava fills the newly created role of vice-president of Brand Strategy and Operations and will lead the growth of Choice Hotels’ extended-stay-brand portfolio, which includes MainStay Suites, WoodSpring Suites and Suburban Extended Stay. Scozzafava was previously Choice’s vice-president of Strategy and Planning, where she created alignment on key business and technology objectives.

Anne Smith has transitioned from vice-president of Brand Management, Design and Compliance to vice-president of Strategy and Planning. She will oversee cooperate strategy and business-transformation functions to drive value for the company.

Anthony Goldstein has been appointed regional vice-president of New Construction, West. He will oversee the western expansion of the Comfort and Sleep Inn brands. Goldstein formerly held the same position for Choice’s conversion brands.
