MONT-JOLI, Que. — Choice Hotels broke ground last week on a new 70-room Quality Inn & Suites in Mont-Joli, Que.
The groundbreaking marks an important step in the execution of this $8-million project. “Today marks a critical step of this hotel project,” says Martin Soucy, mayor of Mont-Joli. “Our city is proud to house this property, which will add to the lodging options for Mont-Joli and La Mitis and help retain tourists. I applaud the promoter’s boldness and vision and thank Choice Hotels for its investment. This project attests to the trust that Jean-Marie Lamontagne and Choice Hotels have in our city and its future.”

The three-storey hotel will operate under the Quality Inn & Suites brand and be built according to Quality standards. “Choice Hotels has built its reputation on high-value hotel properties, whether limited or full-service, economy, mid-scale or upscale. The hotel is scheduled to open its doors in June 2019.
