TORONTO — The newly renovated Champlain Waterfront Hotel has opened its doors in Orillia, Ont. The historic property is the sixth Ascend-branded property to open in the province and 14th nationwide.

Owned and operated by Toronto-based Sunray Group of Hotels, the property boasts 53 guestrooms and an onsite restaurant, Fionn MacCools.

Other amenities include free Wi-Fi, free daily newspaper, free parking and valet laundry service. Room features include flat-screen TVs, desks and ergonomic chairs, mini fridges, coffee machines, hair dryers, irons and ironing boards. King rooms feature a fireplace.
