TORONTO — CBRE Hotels Canada, the Toronto-based real-estate group that services the hospitality industry in acquisitions and dispositions, valuation and consulting, financing, site selection and market research, announced new additions to its team.

To start, Luke Scheer has come on board as a consultant to the hotel brokerage and advisory teams. Previously, director of Development at Delta Hotels & Resorts, Scheer will contribute strong knowledge of hotels and resort assets and plans to become active in sales once licensed.

Mark Sparrow is relocating to Vancouver, effective Jan. 1, to focus on client service and expand CBRE’s national practice.

Nathan Marks is the new sales representative and will work closely with Mark Sparrow and Bill Stone; Marks has worked at CBRE since 2010 in research and office leasing.

And, Deborah Borotsik has been appointed vice-president and will continue to focus on the team’s underwriting and due diligence efforts.
