CALGARY — Travelodge by Wyndham Strathmore in Alberta has won the title of Travelodge Hotel of the Year for 2018-2019. The award was presented to hotel owner, Loizos Zakos and general managers, Jane Payne and Keli Brandt, at the Wyndham Global Conference, held last month in Las Vegas.
The award is presented to the hotel that demonstrates best-in-class service, quality and engagement. Travelodge by Wyndham Strathmore also received the Quality Hotel of the Year award, which is awarded to the hotel with the highest overall quality, guest feedback and combined cleanliness and condition scores.
During the Wyndham Global Conference, several Travelodge Canada properties were recognized with Excellence in Housekeeping awards. These properties were selected based on their dedication to cleanliness and include:
- Travelodge by Wyndham Strathmore
- Travelodge Inn & Suites by Wyndham Spruce Grove
- Travelodge Hotel by Wyndham Weyburn
- Travelodge Suites by Wyndham Saint John
- Travelodge Suites by Wyndham New Glasgow
