McLEAN, Va. — The first dual-branded Hilton development in Canada, the 128-unit Homewood Suites by Hilton and the 126-room Hampton Hotel, opened last week near Toronto’s Pearson International Airport.

The two properties are joined by a shared common area, business centre, putting green, pool and fitness centre.

The hotel is owned by Bayview Toronto Airport Corporate Centre Ltd. and managed by Bayview Hospitality Inc. “Hilton Worldwide and Bayview Hospitality Inc. recognized a need in both the upscale extended-stay and mid-priced transient hotel segments in the growing Toronto Airport corporate centre area,” said Phil Cordell, global head for Focused Service Brands of Hilton Worldwide, of the hotel.

Bayview Hospitality president Alnoor Gulamani, added, “As land becomes more difficult to acquire in such growing areas, these dual-branded hotels offer an efficient solution to developers and greater options to the consumer.”

The property is the 30th Hampton Hotel in Canada.
