LONDON, England — Canada has once again been ranked most powerful in the world, according to FutureBrand‘s 2011 “Country Brand Index,” as presented at the 32nd-annual World Travel Market in London, England.

This is Canada’s second consecutive top ranking in the index, which assesses 110 countries through online interviews with 3,400 travellers from 13 countries.

Canada moved from 12th place in 2006 to sixth place in 2007, to the number-two spot in 2008 and 2009; the country earned the top spot, for the first time, in 2010.

The survey, by the leading international brand and design consultancy, measures 26 image attributes and six other measures of country brand strength.
