CALGARY — Green certification, reimagined spaces, first-class catering and a meeting planner app are all part of the Calgary Marriott Downtown Hotel’s plan to make meeting management easier.

Following a multi-million dollar renovation, the Calgary Marriott Downtown now offers 10,500 sq. ft. of meeting space that allows for multiple options such as large 300-person business presentations or smaller breakout meetings. More intimate meetings can be held in the hotel’s boardrooms, which can accommodate up to 14 people.
Marriott’s new Meeting Services app (MSA) allows real-time requests for coffee refills and room temperature changes. Available in 20 languages, MSA breaks down time and language barriers and can be used on all web-enabled devices.
Meanwhile, the Calgary Marriott Downtown was recently awarded a three-Green-Key rating by the Green Key Meetings Certification program. It highlights the hotel’s significant advances towards protecting the environment in relation to meetings and convention facilities and practices.
