Toronto – For the first time in 16 years, Toronto has a Five Diamond Award-winning hotel. 

The Ritz Carlton, which opened its doors last year, yesterday received the Five Diamond Award for its luxury property located on Wellington St., in downtown Toronto. The other Five-Diamond award winner was Langdon Hall, which garnered a Five Diamond designation for its dining room for the eighth consecutive year. The Ritz and Langdon Hall were only two of more than 70 hotels, inns and restaurants that earned the Four or Five Diamond Award rating in south central Ontario.

The awards were presented as part of a ceremony held at the 16th annual CAA presentation at the Westin Prince Hotel, Feb. 8, and emceed by Erin Davis of CHFI Radio.
