PHOENIX — It’s been nearly a year since Best Western Hotels & Resorts introduced its urban-boutique Vīb concept but the hotel company recently signed an agreement to open its first new-build Vīb in southeast Asia.
The 70-room property will be located in Vientiane, Laos and will feature a social lobby space, grab-and-go snacks, relaxation zone, free Wi-Fi and international adaptors.
“Since we introduced Vīb, we have received tremendous interest from developers around the world. This project is our ninth Vīb under development globally and we are in active discussions with a dozen others,” said Ron Pohl, SVP of Brand Management at Best Western Hotels & Resorts.
The hotel is scheduled to open in 2018.
