PHOENIX — During the first day of its virtual conference, held October 27 to 30, Best Western Hotels & Resorts (BWHR) president & CEO, David Kong, announced the winners of its 2020 Heroic Hospitality Stars Awards.

The recipients of this year’s awards include:
• Front Desk — Linda Armstrong, Best Western Plus Pembina Inn & Suites
• Sales Director — Philip Bryant, Best Western Premier Chateau Granville Hotel & Suites & Conference Centre
• Housekeeping — Vicki Wheeler, Best Western Eagles Inn
• Food & Beverage — James Bellmore, Best Western Premier Bridgewood Resort Hotel & Conference Center
• Voting Member — Dipal Patel, Best Western Plus Big Lake Inn
• Maitenance — Sergio Carbajal, Best Western Plus Mesa San Diego
• General Manager — Kelly Williamson, Best Western Plus Dutch Haus Inn & Suites
• Corporate Employee — Alex Parker, Best Western Hotels & Resorts
• Corporate Manager — Dave Panas, director, Surestay Brand Management
