VANCOUVER — The game is on at Vancouver’s Hellenic Cultural Centre, where the B.C. Hospitality Foundation is hosting its first-annual Skills-and-Spills Industry Games to raise money for the Tip-Out-to-Help campaign.

Teams of eight will raise a minimum of $1,000 to enter and participate in games such as The Hospitality Grind, Wine Barrel Race and Tug of War. The goal is to raise $150,000.

The Tip-Out-to-Help campaign is a virtual tip jar, where B.C.’s hospitality members contribute money that provides financial assistance to individuals in the hospitality community in a time of critical health or medical problems, while providing scholarships and bursaries to students enrolled in hospitality and culinary programs in B.C.

The Skills-and-Spills Industry Games will be held Oct. 20.
