REVELSTOKC, B.C. — Basecamp Resorts is set to open its newest hotel, Basecamp Revelstoke, on December 3.

The 32-unit property, located near downtown Revelstoke, B.C., features modern amenities and the comforts of home. All units are equipped with remote keyless entry, a full kitchen, washer and dryer, complimentary wireless Internet, a flat-screen LED TV with cable and a private patio with outdoor seating. The property also offers two shared rooftop hot tubs, free access to cruiser bikes for guests and complementary parking.

Basecamp Revelstoke’s design is influenced by its location’s geography, with stone cladding on the ground-floor units and the above two-storey townhouse units “deposited” and “shifted” in the direction of the flowing Columbia River. Interiors feature vaulted living spaces to capitalize on the scenery and original artwork produced by local Revelstoke artist, Hayley Stewart.

“We’re thrilled to be expanding the Basecamp brand into Revelstoke, a truly world-class tourist destination, and we look forward to being a part of this exceptional community,” says Sky McLean, Chief Executive Officer of Basecamp Resorts. “At Basecamp Resorts, the health and welfare of our guests, employees and community is our primary focus and, with our unique designs, we’re able to provide guests with a safe travel option in these unprecedented times.”

Basecamp Resorts currently has four properties in Canmore, Alta. — Basecamp Canmore, Basecamp Lodge, Lamphouse Hotel and the recently opened Basecamp Suites.

From its inception, Basecamp Resorts adopted a completely automated check-in system which enables guests to access units via private, exterior entrances without having any physical contact with staff or other guests. The resorts are also built to be entirely energy efficient and reduce the impact on the environment.
