DENVER, Colo. — Two Roads Hospitality is set to expand its Alila Hotels & Resorts brand into North America with the opening of a resort property in California’s Big Sur this fall.

“The introduction of Alila Hotels & Resorts to the North American market is a significant milestone in Two Roads’ international growth strategy,” says Jamie Sabatier, CEO of Two Roads Hospitality. “As a brand that is long synonymous with opening resorts in spectacular, bucket-list destinations, it couldn’t be more fitting that Alila’s U.S. debut will be along the iconic Big Sur coastline.”

A multimillion-dollar revitalization project, Ventana Big Sur, an Alila Resort will feature 59 refreshed guestrooms, suites and villas; a full-service Spa Alila; two enhanced outdoor pools with a new infinity-edge hot tub; and outdoor Japanese hot baths. The conversion will also include a new restaurant concept (The Sur House), a new Social House and a Glass House Gallery.

The project will also debut a luxury camping experience — Redwood Canyon Glampsites — in the resort’s 20-acre redwood forest.
