MONTREAL — Four Seasons Hotel Montreal has launched a high-tea program at its MARCUS restaurant.

Afternoon Tea at MARCUS will be offered every afternoon from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., during which MARCUS Lounge will be transformed into a contemporary tearoom.

MARCUS’ culinary team and pastry chefs’ modern high-tea re-interpretation features towers of delicate sweet treats and savoury bites, served with an outstanding selection of black, white, green and oolong organic teas by Vancouver-based TEALEAVES. Guests can also enhance the experience with tins of Northern Divine Canadian caviar, house-made potato blinis and champagne by the glass.

Sweet offerings include chocolate praline rocher-style, Raspberry Delight and a chestnut and blackcurrant tart with crispy meringue. The savoury menu features rye bread with roast beef and jus, English mustard, horseradish mayo and B&B pickles; white bread with egg salad, chive, cresson and lemon mayonnaise; and potato brioche with cream cheese with tomato powder, homemade beet gravlax, Lebanese cucumber, all-dressed spices and marinated daylily bud.

Along with the launch of high-tea, the SPA at Four Seasons Hotel Montreal is offering a Shopping Break Experience package, which includes a Luxurious Gold Body Treatment — designed to help heal daily micro-damage and to revitalise the skin — followed by Afternoon Tea at MARCUS. The offer will be available from Dec. 1, 2019 to Jan. 5, 2020.
