PARIS — AccorHotels’ first Jo&Joe “open house” is set to open in Hossegor, France on May 29. Originally unveiled last fall, the Jo&Joe brand is a new take on economy accommodations designed to meet the expectations of millennials.

For the Hossegor location, AccorHotels partnered with Hossegor-based surfwear brands Quiksilver and Roxy to push the Jo&Joe brand’s innovative design proposition to the limit, infusing the property with a unique local identity.

Jo&Joe Hossegor is designed as a funky place to meet people and relax within a concept that blends the best of hotel, hostel and private-rental formats. It features open spaces that flow seamlessly from indoors to outdoors and furniture chosen for its mobility and flexibility of use.

“Creating an open house in just three months is a crazy challenge, but one made possible by the team’s start-up mode approach and considerable agility combined with the support of our partners Quiksilver and Roxy,” says Cédric Gobilliard, SVP, Lifestyle Division, AccorHotels. “This very ambitious project is blowing a wind of change through the hospitality market.”

Additional Jo&Joe properties are set to open in Paris and Bordeaux in 2018.
