VANCOUVER — To celebrate its 50th anniversary, AccorHotels honoured local everyday heroes — firefighters, police officers, nurses, teachers, non-profit organizations and volunteers — by providing them brunch, afternoon tea or a stay in the hotel.
On November 19th, close to 2,000 establishments around the world participated in the event, including the Fairmont Empress, Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, Fairmont Waterfront, Fairmont Vancouver Airport, Fairmont Pacific Rim and Fairmont Chateau Whistler in British Columbia.
As part of the Accor family, Fairmont hotels in Vancouver invited charity partners and local emergency-service professionals to brunch. The Fairmont Empress in Victoria, B.C. hosted an afternoon tea for their local police department.
