CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. — Two Canadas Best Value Inns (CBVI) were recently recognized at the RLHC International Conference & Trade Show in Las Vegas, as part of RLHC’s Best-of-the-Best awards. The awards honour the company’s top hotels in 12 different categories. Nominees are chosen by brand support representatives from each region before a committee of RLHC executives determines the winners.

The Canadas Best Value Inn & Suites in Charlottetown, P.E.I. won the Best Lobby Presentation award, which is presented to hotels that wow guests upon their arrival by creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere, having professionally attired staff and delighting guests through unexpected surprises.

The Canadas Best Value Inn in Toronto received the Best Social Media and Online Presence award, which recognizes properties that maximize online presence through social media and consumer-review websites. The ideal candidate excels in building awareness, writing creative content, engaging consumers and having exceptional response times.

The two winning locations, along with Canadas Best Value Inn Prince George, B.C., were also recognized by RLHC as top achievers in quality assurance, which is based on the quality assurance scores each property receives throughout the year.

“I would like to commend the Canadas Best Value Inns in Toronto, Charlottetown and Prince George for winning these prestigious awards,” says Roger Bloss, executive VP and president of Global Development for RLHC. “It’s a credit to every member on staff — from the GMs to the housekeepers — that their dedication and hard work resulted in the accolades.”

The Toronto CBVI has been celebrated by RLHC in previous years, as well. In 2015, the property won a Best of the Best award for Overall Excellence and has received perfect quality assurance scores every year since 2012.
