CALGARY — InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) is opening the new-build 104-room Candlewood Suites Calgary Airport North in Calgary, Alta. — only the second Candlewood Suites hotel in Canada.

The hotel, owned by Frankish Management, offers spacious studio, one- and two-bedroom suites with fully equipped kitchens and executive desks. Unique offerings include the Candlewood Cupboard, a 24-hour in-hotel convenience store selling breakfast items, snacks, refreshments and easy-to-prepare meals; the Lending Locker, where guests can borrow common household items to use during their stay; and free Wi-Fi and local calls.
The hotel’s green features include LED lighting throughout, environmentally friendly dry-cleaning service and an in-room recycling program.
