LAS VEGAS — Partners, vendors and colleagues of the 7,200-strong Wyndham hotel group have gathered at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas for Achieve 2012, the company’s annual global conference.

“The global conference is a live demonstration of the strength gained by being part of the largest hotel group in the world,” said Eric Danziger, president and CEO, Wyndham Hotel Group, upon welcoming delegates to the conference. He encouraged brand operators to achieve success by attending events designed to engage their brands and Wyndham Hotel Group.

Those events include a state of the industry, panel discussion with Peter Yesawich, vice-chair of MMGY Global, a leader in the hospitality industry. Other speakers include Scott Greenberg, a leadership expert speaking on internal mastery; Ed Iannarella, president of Stonehenge Consulting Group, a marketing, sales and training company, talking about ‘the extended stay;’ Kathleen Davis, from the Polaris Project, presenting a session on human trafficking in the hotel industry; and Judson Laipply, creator of the evolution of dance video — seen by more than 100 million —speaking on ‘personal ROI.’

Several Wyndham brands well-known in Canada are represented at the convention, including Days Inn, Howard Johnson, Ramada and Super 8.
