WHISTLER, B.C. — Whistler Blackcomb Holdings Inc. has announced the resignation of Kevin Smith who is leaving his role as executive vice-president and CFO, effective Sept. 10, due to personal reasons.

“On behalf of the management team and the Board of Directors, I would like to express our appreciation to Kevin Smith for his contributions to Whistler Blackcomb. Over the next month Kevin will be working closely with Dave, and I am confident there will be a seamless transition. We would like to wish Kevin well in his future plans,” said Bill Jensen, CEO of Whistler Blackcomb Holdings Inc.

Dave Brownlie will replace Kevin Smith as Interim CFO, in addition to managing day-to-day operations of Whistler Blackcomb as president and COO. Dave Brownlie will continue to be supported by Flora Ferraro, vice-president, Finance and Herbert Wong, manager, Corporate Reporting. The search for a new CFO has begun.
