MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — Green Key Global, an Ottawa-based environmental certification body, has announced it’s certified Mississauga, Ont.-based Westmont Hospitality Group’s entire Canadian portfolio of 120 hotels.

The Green Key Eco-Rating program inspects, ranks and certifies hotels based on their sustainable operations and practices. Each property has the ability to earn up to five keys. “Sustainability needs to be a life choice as we are all guests of planet Earth,” said Kyle Nantais, VP of Revenue Optimization for Westmont. “We are pleased in creating working environments where employees and guests can reduce their carbon footprint by utilizing green practices during their stay.”

All Green-Key-certified properties are listed on greenkeyglobal.com.
