TORONTO — The Westin Ottawa has unveiled plans to add a 3,000-sq.-ft. ballroom on the 22nd floor of the hotel. The new space, named TwentyTwo, will debut in the spring of 2017.

“We are thrilled to share our vision for this new and exclusive meeting and event space at The Westin Ottawa,” says Ross Meredith, GM at The Westin Ottawa. “This elegant new addition will elevate our offerings and will surely be the top choice for weddings, social functions and other events in city of Ottawa.”

TwentyTwo will offer 270-degree views of the city with near-panoramic views of Parliament to the west and the Ottawa River and surrounding Gatineau Hills to the north and east. The hotel’s award-winning executive chef, Kenton Leier, is designing new menu concepts that will be exclusive to the new space. Leier will also offer a personal menu consultation and tasting during the booking process for all evening events, along with specially curated wine lists and pairing suggestions.

Other offerings in the new space include a customizable video-wall display and sound system; a dedicated specialty suite for per-event activities; high-end china and designer chairs for all events; and a dedicated bar, which offers the option of a crafted-beverage menu.
