VICTORIA, B.C. — The Westin Bear Mountain Golf Resort & Spa, Victoria — owned by Ecoasis Developments LLP — recently completed an extensive renovation project, refurbishing 156 guestrooms and 72 suites. The completion came just in time for the 2016 Pacific Links Bear Mountain Championship, which took place last week.

The property’s guestroom and suite makeover brings a new look to the property, featuring new tables, chairs, desk, lamps and pull-out sofa beds; new wall finishing throughout the bedrooms, living areas and bathrooms; and a Heavenly Mirror in all bathrooms and Heavenly Bed with built-in reading lights in the bedroom. New technology upgrades include bedside USB charging stations, clock radios with iPhone charging ports and corridors designed to guide guests more easily.

“We are extremely proud to debut our refreshed guestrooms at The Westin Bear Mountain Golf Resort & Spa,” says Denise Palmer, GM. “We are continually working to update and improve the guest experience at the resort to provide world-class accommodation for our guests.”

The new and improved Westin Bear Mountain played an important role as host to the 2016 Pacific Bear Mountain Championship — an official event of the PGA Champions Tour, featuring the world’s premier golfers aged 50 and older competing for a US$ 2.5 million prize.
